If i may ask. How come there are no lectures for chp 10 ex 5 &6 and chp 11. I feel so comfortable watchin your lectures 🙂In chp 10 ex. 5..Can you pls explain from were the dividends payable of 6000 under Didzis in W3b ret. Earn. C/f came from?

Didzis has 75% of Ansis.
Ansis has accounted for a dividend of $8,000
Didzis should receive 75% of that $8,000 but has nowhere shown that investment income in the figures in the question
I can only assume that Ansis has declared the dividend and therefore correctly accounted for it, but has not yet paid it so Didzis doesn’t know as at the year end that they’re going to receive their share of 75% of $8,000
But we know! So we can make that adjustment when preparing the working W3 proof figure
