i just wonder why the nci investment valuation is 158000,as i only know L acquired 60%of the share capital for 160000.Thank you!
Linas made a bargain purchase! Seriously, I wanted to create a negative goodwill situation that was SO negative it would alert the students on the course. If it had been just a bit negative, it may not have had the affect of alerting them about the treatment of negative goodwill.
It’s highly unlikely to be so extreme in the real exam
