Hi,
I have passed F7 in June 2012 by 54 marks. I know I did well in question 1 and 3..as i was weak in others.
I’am planning to do P2 in the next sitting. Do you strongly recommend me going through F7 again?
I feel I’m very weak with all the standards and adjusting the trail balance (which is basically related to questions 2 and 4).Thanks

January 24, 2013 at 10:56 am #114314I agree with Rakhi. Go through basic consolidation; also leases and impairment. When doing P2, you go through the old material a bit anyway – there’s no need to spend a great deal of time going over F7. I really struggled at F7, and P2 was about as hard.
When you come to it, concentrate more on part B as this is where the vast majority of students fail the paper – no one fails on the consolidation question (part A).
I had the same reservations about this paper as you. Don’t worry!

Hi, I do not where go wrong, fail F7 again, back to class again or self study, I need help.
February 10, 2013 at 10:58 am #117007Sounds to me like you would benefit greatly simply from working through questions 1 – 3 from all the past exams. Work throught he OT notes to make sure that you fully understand all the basics and then get stuck into the past exam questions – there are recorded answers on this site too for all those questions
