How Did everyones get on??
December 13, 2015 at 11:00 pm #291622Strange exam, did q4 and q5 as two options. Thought both questions nice, q2 was very doable, q1 was a mix bag but at least if you didnt know something it was smaller marks, ppr relief, seed capital and start up relief, werent bad, q2 part a loss consortium relief for 10 marks was very reasonable.
February 8, 2016 at 8:42 pm #299750Hi, what study text did you use? I can’t source an irish variant textbook or free lectures
February 12, 2016 at 11:10 am #300129Hi All, I would like to sit F6 Irish Variant in June 2016 too but BPP is not updating their book, is tuition the only way to prepare myself for this exam now??
Do you know if Kaplan or any other publisher is going to issue a study text for F6 Irish Taxation for 2016 sessions?February 12, 2016 at 11:28 am #300131I used the the revision BBP Book for sitting in december….was really good for the MCQ Section. they also have past questions shortened to 10 mark questions…Bought it with o’Mahoneys…..and then pass papers are a must….I got 61% with 3 weeks study doing both these so you can definitely do it
March 20, 2016 at 8:29 pm #307175Hi
I seem to be in the same predicament as you. I’m booked to sit this exam in June 2016 and have had no luck in sourcing any learning materials. Did you manage to get anything to use yourself? Thanks

April 10, 2016 at 11:01 am #309622Hi,
I’m also having trouble finding the most recent F6 Irish variant book, I’m looking to sit the exam in September 16.
Does anyone know where I could pick one up?
I believe the Irish variant is not being offered as a CBE which is a pity also.
Thanks
April 14, 2016 at 11:39 pm #310162Hey Liam. I am doing F6 (IRL) at DBS, and they are using a book called “The Student’s Tax Handbook” by Mckeon Murray https://www.mckeonmurray.ie/student-s-tax-handbook.html. It looks like Kaplan and BPP are not supporting the Irish Variant, must be too small of a niche.
June 13, 2016 at 9:10 pm #322828Ailish, any chance you still have the books for F6 irish version?
