How are you guys getting the 90’s? Any tips? For me it was mostly down to doing lots and lots of question practice. The Kaplan revision book was the one I used but I’m sure others are just as good. I also had a little notebook where I would write something like “Entrepreneurs Relief” on one side of a page and then list the rules on the other so I could test myself. I ended up using 2 notebooks for tax but I learnt every rule that way!

Can anyone help? I’m need to complete F6 in December 2013 as the final of the Fundamental papers. The Business School where I normally study only do day classes and I can’t attend. For all the others I have attended evening courses and passed all of them so far.
Is it going to be too difficult to self study tax?
I have no previous experience of dealing with tax and it seems like a hard module and the study texts are massive. Did any of you self study and how did you find it? I will be doing the English variant.it shouldn’t be that hard. I self-studied and laso have no experience with taxes nor accounting and manges to get 80%. doing a lot of qeustions is the key and remembering the rules!

Did you study at a learning provider or did you teach yourself?I studied at a learning provider that did their own internal exams for it (which would then have led to exemption from the modules with ACCA) but I decided to take my exams directly with the ACCA instead.
I did self study for F1-F3 and I do believe it would’ve been possible for me to pass this one self study but I really enjoyed learning with other people.

August 9, 2013 at 4:54 pm #137122I failed F6, I got 38% marks, however was due to time consumed to calculate the first question

have expected and happy for having made throughAugust 11, 2013 at 6:29 pm #137586First of all, I would like to congratulate those who passed F6 paper.
is my first time coming in this forum- maybe because I am so desperate and looking for help for my F6 paper
I failed again F6 with 48 marks, and I am compting now the 5th sitting. Please I don’t know what to do or how to study to be able to pass this paper. Maybe I am too slow for the exam technique that I am not able to do much. Please is somebody can, help me to plan for my december13 sitting as this time I really want to pass it.
I was thinking to enroll for resit class, is it good idea or not? shall go back to the normal full time day class? is it worthy?
up to now I have been going to evening class, so maybe I have missed important points! can somebody give me his class notes for those who did full time studies f6 last sitting.
If anybody think that she or he is really good on tax and can help me to practice pass exams paper, then please don’t hesitate to contact me. I will pay for that time per hourPlease help!
