    Dear Sir,
I am planing to take the exam on June 2016 so,I was just wondering if the study pack which is on this site still valid as, there are many changes has happened since 2014.

for example personal allowance for 2014/2015 is 10600 and will be 10800 for 2016/2017.

my concern do I have to look for most recent study pack? or this study pack would be good enough!

    Regards

The June exam is still based on FA 2014

Sir, in chapter 2 example 1 shouldn’t we first add back PAYE to earnings, then find tax liability and then find tax payable?

Salaries are always quoted gross – before any deductions of income tax or NIC.

Oh. Its just that PAYE was given besides the earnings figure so I assumed that PAYE would be deducted from the earnings.

The PAYE figure must be given in relation to the gross salary to allow you to compute tax payable
