Hi,
I would be really grateful of somebody can clarify one aspect with me. Are notes older than 2014 lets say 2013, good for study material for the F5 dec sesion?
And if anybody that reads happens to have any copies of F5 study materials that i can borrow It will be very much appreciated.
thank you
Cristina
June 9, 2015 at 6:08 pm #255704The only study materials that you really need are the free lectures (and lecture notes that go with them) on this website, plus a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved content providers. (The Revision Kits contain lots of exam standard questions to practice on, and practice is vital).
It is important that you use a current edition of the Revision Kit because the format of the exam changed from December of 2014, and now 40% of the exam is multiple choice questions.
With regard to copies of F5 Study Materials, there is a separate forum for buying and selling books and you should ask there. However, you should make it clear that you wish to buy hard copies of materials. The material is copyright of the relevant publishers and so sharing copies by email is piracy, which is both illegal and unethical. Anyone doing this will be banned from OpenTuition.
However, again, if you watch our free lectures and download our free lecture notes, then all you need to buy is a Revision Kit 🙂
June 9, 2015 at 6:38 pm #255721Hi,
Thank you so much for your reply.
Yeah sorry, that is what I meant, a hard copy. I am very happy to hear that the notes available should be enough.
The forum for buying books is here on opentuition as well?
Thank you
June 10, 2015 at 7:18 am #255875You can obviously buy books direct from the publishers, or you can post in this forum:

to see if anyone wants to sell their old books
June 10, 2015 at 9:39 pm #256196Hi Sir,
Im planning to get F6 and F5 exams in September 2015. Can I use opentuition F5 Notes and lectures (Its says for june exams) for Sept exam too?
Thank you.
June 11, 2015 at 7:53 am #256265Yes you can.
There are few changes being made to the F5 notes, but nothing major – just a few small improvements (because there are no changes to the syllabus).
So it is fine to start working using the existing notes and lectures.
