Hello, I am preparing for the F5 exam through self-study. I will be taking the exam in March 2018. My questions are
1) Will I have to be familiar with using Microsoft Excel if I take the CBE exam?
2) How is the F5 paper considered by students?
3) Is it doable with about 4 months of preparation?

1. No – there is a spreadsheet provided on the computer on which you take the exam. You can find a specimen exam on the ACCA website and see what the spreadsheet is like.

2. The same as all exams – hard!
