Sir actually 1 thing in which I am confused and want to ask is that, like F5 consist around 122 pages of OT notes. But again not all the topics of syllabus is covered in these notes and lectures. So in revision kit some questions appear of which topics are not covered in OT notes and lectures, so if we leave such questions which are not covered in OT notes and lectures, and we just rely on OT notes and lectures (which in our example is 122 pages of F5 OT notes) so is it enough to pass F5? I hope you may have understood what I am trying to ask. Thanks

The notes are lecture notes and should only be used if you are watching the lectures – in the lectures I explain and expand on the notes. (If you are not watching the lectures for any reason then you need to buy a Study Text and study from there.)

Secondly, we do not claim to cover 100% of everything that could possibly appear in the exam. However we do claim that we cover more than enough to be able to pass the exam well. (We teach the same as what is taught on conventional face-to-face courses and for most exams it is enough for all the questions in the exam, but always at least 90% of the marks.)

If you do come across any questions in the Revision Kit that you are not clear about (whether they were covered in the lectures or not) then you should ask in this forum and I will explain – that it what this forum is for 🙂

(I assume that you are using a current edition of the Revision Kit, because over the years the syllabus has changed and some topics are no longer in the syllabus (and new ones have been added). Also, there may be some questions in your Revision Kit that are Paper F2 topics (because in theory they could be asked again in F5). I do revise the relevant Paper F2 topics as I go through the F5 lectures – those that I do not revise are just not asked in F5.)

Sir what I am trying to ask that if there are such questions which are present in revision kit but are not present in OT notes and lectures, so if we leave such questions and just concentrate only on OT notes and lectures and questions related to OT notes and lectures , so is it sufficient to pass p3?

You will find very few questions like that, but no – do not ignore them. It could be that you have misunderstood the lectures and that they are covered.

Attempt them. If you are not clear, then again – ask in this forum and I will explain.

If you have watched the lectures and understood them, then that (together with maybe a bit of knowledge from F2, which you must have studied earlier whether you sat the exam or studied at university) should mean you will be able to do virtually every question in the Revision Kit (and every question in past exams).
