Company is intending to produce a new product. They have made two test units- the first of them took 8 hrs to make and the second took 6hrs .
What is the learning rate ?
I really do suggest that you watch the free lecture on learning curves where calculating the learning rate is explained.
The average time per unit if they make 2 units = (8 + 6) / 2 = 7 hours
Therefore the learning rate = 7/8 = 0.875 or 87.5%
(Our lectures are a complete course for Paper F5 and cover everything you need to be able to pass the exam well.)
