    Hi Tutor,

    I need some advice…

I have papers F5 and F9 remaining till I make a start on the P level papers.
I was wondering if it is ideal for me to take both these papers together in June 2016?

I have attempted F5 previously using BPP notes 3 times and failed, this time round I am using the open tuition F5 notes and was wondering if you would recommend doing F9 alongside, I have not previously studied F9 so it would be a new syllabus to learn, whereas with F5 I am pretty familiar with.

I would greatly appreciate your advice.

    Many thanks in advance..

Firstly, I hope you intend watching the free lectures as well and not just the notes. It is in the lectures that we explain and expand on the notes. And also that you have a recent edition of a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers, because practice is the most important thing of all.

As to whether to take both exams, it depends on how badly you failed F5. If you did fail badly that it might be best to concentrate just on F5 and make sure you pass it.

If it was not a bad fail, then certainly do both papers together.

    Hi,

Yes I have a copy of the updated practice and revision kit from BPP.

I got 45% on my first attempt and then 32 on second and third, do you still recommend taking two papers?

Start studying F9 and see how you find it.

If you find it too difficult then maybe stop and concentrate on F5.
