heyy guys can u all tell me how many hours do we have to study in order to pass the acca exams or when is the ideal time to start revising & practicing the paper….3 mths,1 mth ??

    Personal reference is also accepted:)

Is studying 1 month before the exam is ok or not?

Only my own experience for F5 (I took it along with F6):

Intro course: 4 days x 6 hours, 3 months before the exam
Revision course: 3 days x 6 hours, 1 month before the exam
In the last month I studied an average of 1-1,5 hours/day except the last week when I studied 5 hours a day.

That means 4×6+3×6=42 hours in courses and approx. 5×7+20×1,5=65 hours home study.

It was useful for me to learn definitions and lists (like pros/cons of zero-based budgeting) in the last several days because otherwise I would certainly forget those things. πŸ™‚

It really depends on your personal circumstances to be honest.

I can only really study for 1-2 hours a day, including around exam time…so I start going through the material usually straight after I’ve finished with the previous exam I’ve taken. I think if you wanted to start studying a month at a time, you’d need to be doing 5 hours a day just to get through the material and then revise it all again. Again – it depends on what your memory is like!!
