    Dear John,
I am writing this note to take your advise.
I wrote F5 twice in past. Once in Sep 2016, once in mar 2017. In both attempts i got 44%. I wrote it again yesterday and have a horrible feeling about it. This feeling was so bad that i could hardly revise my F6 which is today.

With a demanding job it is difficult to take out time for studies. And i cant comprehend what was wrong with my approach. Will share my routine with you and seek your guidance.

I enrolled for BPP online class room. Did questions in the notes as well as in BPP KIT. Thats true that i did not do past papers.

Looking at paper, i was just so nervous and confused about question with demand equation (one of 20 marks question). Second long question on ROI and RI was also overwhelming too.

Sir, does this mean that ACCA is not meant for me? or am i doing something very wrong. I was a bright student when i did my MBA (over 10 years back).

    In desperate need of help.

    Best Regards
    Ayesha

Don’t give up – 44% is not so far from the pass mark, and maybe yesterday you did not do so badly as you felt.

Even though you have used the BPP online classroom, I suggest that you watch my free lectures – it may just be revision for you, but to hear it explained differently may be useful.

Did you attempt every question in the Revision Kit (and only looked at the answers after attempting the questions yourself)? If you didn’t then you must. If you did, then I suggest buying a Revision Kit from one of the other ACCA approved publishers so that you have different questions to practice on.

Did you attempt every question in the exam? In Sections A and B you must hand in an answer to every question, even if some of them are guesses. (Even if just one guess is correct then that is another 2 marks, and nobody knows it was only a guess!!).

In Section C you must do something for every part of both questions. That does not mean finishing every part – but it is better to do half of each part than leave one or more parts out completely. Importantly, make sure you have written something for the written parts – writing almost anything will get a mark and be that bit closer to the 50%.

If you have any problems while watching the lectures or with questions in your Revision Kit then ask in this forum and I will help you.
