their profit was 180000, but yet they didn’t have sales manager, so when they would employ the manager, 40000 salary would be additional cost. it is commited cost yes, but it is additional cost, when they are deciding whether to employ him/her

What?? And why, in your opinion, they gave a cost of 40.000? Just for fun?

Bro, was it 40000? Cause then this gives you minus 1300. Btw, are we the only ones with you to get the senior management right (which described strategic planning and so was not correct) and feedforward control? Also, did you have 18k something units?

D and A seem right cause they had the highest contribution per limiting factor, which was labor hours

thats what I got also, senior managements duty isn’t to ensure effective use of resources, thats operations responsibility.

No mate, check the bpp book, strategic planning does not control the utilization of resources. Its the objective of management control. But, remember, in the wuestion they wrongly stated that utilization effective and efficient was controllable by strategic planning, which is wrong

Yeah I agree but didn’t the question say ‘current ( or existing cant remember) resources’? That’s why I decides its not strategic. Strategic looks at the future I thought :/

You got it right bro 🙂 also, just check the book, effective and efficient use of resources is of control of management level. Didnt they attribute this to strategic planning in the wuestion, or did they write management planning? Refresh my memory please

Guys, management control looks at effective and efficient utilization of resources. Operational control looks at whether specific requirements are fulfilled. But in the wuestion they gave strategic pkanning, so, wrong answer
