P2 fixed cost 1 per unit, 2500 specific fixed overhead, budgeted production 12500.
if only P1 to make, how many units to make to get 60000 profit,

December 1, 2014 at 7:09 pm #215379Can anyone say the life cycle cost que? In McQ can’t rememember
December 1, 2014 at 7:09 pm #215380Think I chose D too.

December 1, 2014 at 7:10 pm #215383Guys, so here come my answers:
1) only division A accepts
2) select products D and A
3) not employ -1300
4) breakeven units of 18k something
5) feedforward control
6) senior management is top management, top management does not control resource utilization. So, the only true answer was for operational manager.Regarding tpars…each of them was below one. Just look at question number 16 and 17 in BPP revision kit, you will understand why.
December 1, 2014 at 7:16 pm #215386James I did so! But the question was to show goals of each perspective in relation with measurments… Now I think that my answer wasn’t enough 🙁
December 1, 2014 at 7:17 pm #215387What was the que about?

December 1, 2014 at 7:25 pm #215393The life cycle cost question
December 1, 2014 at 7:26 pm #215394Where we had labor shortage
December 1, 2014 at 7:28 pm #215397Mate, if you remember, there were some projections involved in this question.
December 1, 2014 at 7:35 pm #215402Got all the same like you accept the £1300 question. Lol it seems like I’m the only one who chose option b for profit of £38700, n therefore employee the manager. Must have missed a cost.
December 1, 2014 at 7:38 pm #215404Does anyone remember their answer for the activity based mcq?
I tried to calculate this a number of times and got 31.25 which unfortunately was none of the answers so took a stab in the dark at 46.25 simply based on the .25
I remember my drivers were around 75k for set ups, 20k for the general overheads and maybe 30k for the inspections divided by the 4000 units gave me 31.25!!?
Anyone know where I was going wrong??

I got 46.25
From memory the labour was 10@ $2 so got 20
75000 divided by the units was 4000 so 18.75
Then the 30000 divided by 4000 to give 7.5Those give 46.25.

But what seems wierd to me is that there was given actual profit and manager salary cost 40’000. Isn’t in general it logical that salary is under admin expenses and thus does not impact profit? I have not heard that: ok, lets calculate profit and then less salaries 😀
December 1, 2014 at 7:42 pm #215408Yeah that’s it 🙁

I have not heard that: ok, lets calculate profit and then less salaries 😀I think what it’s saying is the cost/profit generated by either employing the staff or not. Therefore the salary is a cost that needs to be incorporated to determine what the profit/ loss would be taking on the new staff versus potential profits
