December 3, 2014 at 12:43 am #216563Well ,let me share my thoughts with you about the exam..I don’t quite agree it was fair paper.Comparing with the specimen one it was much more difficult ..mcqs required much time calculation etc, anyway that was ok though.Question one about leaning rate said the incremental COST of 8th unit required..on a similar question on Kaplan I think it had sth like this and the solution was : average time for 8, the total time of 8 multiply with 8 and then with cost(so we have the cost of first 8) gave me 3k sth. then average time for 7,total time for 7multiply with 7 and then total cost for 7multiply this with 15labour this was sth 2k sth..then the incremental cost for 8th is the difference of those two..i got 550 sth so 240materials and 550 I think I got..For sure I got confused sth anyway..Question 2 on relevant ok(don’t like this topic but it was ok I think)Question 3 with TPAR ok very confusing with the whole hours thing..Question 4 barnacled scorecard actually good one first part just knowledge second ok easy but required time if I had more I could have said many more.Question 5 variances ok so confusing..First attempt to find actual in std proportion really pissed me off!!I did what some of you said 181.500 multiply with 0.25 and 0.5 and 0.6 divided each with 1.35..but if you do so the sum of mix prop is not equal to 181.500..so sth was wrong..at all the questions at Kaplan and bbp I think the std mix in actual proportion was always as the total actual it just changes the proportions not the sum..So???yield was ok..I don’t know what I have mistaken,I will sit on June again..anyway good luck to all of us.

I was thinking of either that but the question mention about having their profits maximised which give rise to choosing both.
December 3, 2014 at 5:30 am #216608Stamatina, everything was right. Maybe your calculations were wrong.

December 3, 2014 at 5:39 am #216615Is the examiner the same for F5 and P5?

December 3, 2014 at 10:38 am #216738were the variances adverse and favourable? for mix and yield
December 3, 2014 at 12:37 pm #216798paper was lengthy or may be i did less practice for it…MCQs with calculations were simple but theory base MCQs were tough overall MCQs were easy like expected section B was also fine but i missed a 9 mark option of balance score card due to time shortage hope so i could get 50 marks -_- :/ ……
