I thought I did good and it seemed fairly easy to me, However, I was shattered from studying all night and worrying about F9 so I don’t think I thought at all during the paper! It was like my body answered everything automatically!

Anyway F9 is the killer for me and I’ve not even started F4! Everyone should stop worrying, even if you think you did rubbish you may still pass. Good luck to all.

@mustafaraza. I don’t think there will be a problem. The reason that they insist on black ink is that the answers are scanned and sent to the markers electronically. Black scans better. (There is no point in writing to the ACCA – it will have been scanned and sent.)

Can anyone help me here. I stupidly didnt shade/tick the box on the fron cover of the answer booklet. I did answer all the question (in order) and shaded the question attempted at the top of each page…just didnt tick the questions attempted on the fron cover.

    Will this affect my mark?????

Can anyone help me too please?
I did shade the questions numbers (the circles) at the top of each page, but i didn’t actually write the question numbers if that makes sence. I just shaded the relevant circle and then started answering the questions and just put only a), b) etc.
    Is this a problem?

    Hi guys!

I atempted 4.5 questions out of five. I tried to take maximum from question 1, 2, 3 and 5. However did not have time finish question 4.

There is a small issue I’m worried about. test administrators did not distribute graph papers at the test. So i drew my volume-profit graph directly in my answer sheet along with my calculations and text answers. I talked to a friend of mine who had also attempted f5. He said that later during the test he asked administrator to give him a graph paper, and they did give.

Should I have asked for graph paper during the test? Will my graph be marked if it is drawn inside the answer sheet?

    Thank you very much!

    @ azatkup:
The amounts to be plotted were not easy without a graph paper so the administrator should have absolutely asked who needed one, at least this is what happened in the class I gave the exam. ( it was clearly stated “In the graph paper provided to you”)

I think you will get more marks for the effort you put for drawing the graph in the answer sheet ?

questions were easy but time was short for such a long paper….variances ruined my paper though i have been practicing variances a lot but due to pressure i was unable to work out std labour rate per hour ……i solved abc& transfer and hope to get best marks in that question….cvp was easy one…..per.measurement was ok….but variances that question was difficult especially when u have short time u cant solve that sort of question

    labour rate planning variance (11.4-12)*.6*20000
anwer comes accurate if u do as above

I thought that the exam was quite reasonable, I was expecting Trees, Throughput or Linear programming and environmental accounting, and none of that came up. I was quite pushed for time but managed to answer all the questions.

Wow i think “OK” votes were above 56% now they are just above 50%, the more days from exam, the more votes for “difficult”
