    Hey there!
I am fresh accounting graduate (bachelors) and just started an audit internship. What I want to know is that while working from 8am – 5pm, do I have the time to sit for 2 papers (F5 and F9) by december? And how many study hours do I have to give per day in order to finish the study material? I am exempted from papers F1, F2, and F3 and I just filled my application form online (just uploaded my transcripts to my acca account) and am I late for application? I wanna sit for both papers by december.

    Thanks in advance

    Congratulations on your graduation!

I wouldn’t say its impossible but you need to consider how much time you have in hand considering how tired you might be. I wouldnt suggest how many hours because that totally depends on you. For F9 depending on what you have covered in your graduation I would suggest you to get yourself familar with ARR, IRR, Payback, NPV from opentuition F2 videos if you haven’t covered these. Both papers need good practice. If you are willing to do what it takes then I would suggest you to start studies now.

Normally, as the days come closer to pay the fees for the exams, I would consider how ready i am and I suggest you do the same. If you think you can complete revision before the exam for both the papers, carry on with both. However, if you feel 2 papers are too much drop one and concentrate on the one you are more confident about.

I have already taken a Financial management course in my uni (3 years ago). I dont really remember it well but I guess after some reading and practice it’ll all come back to me. Lets say that I study about 2-3 hrs a day and on weekends I study for 6 hrs a day or so, will I be able to finish both F5 and F9 and still have some time to review? (and I mean studying without wasting any time or goofing around)

That would be absolutely possible, yes! Watching video lectures first will help you understand faster expecially for F9
