Andy.December 13, 2013 at 11:05 pm #152933Hi all
Good to see all your responses.I follow OT as my main resource. My steps are
Listen to each chapter and go through OT notes and questions,
Read for F4 study text while doing above step(I ll usually do this in tube),
Once done with the above two and fairly confident start exam kit, ideally end of apr i want to b at this stagePls share your plans, since we hv to wait for f6 lectures we can start on the other 2.
Regards
ishuDecember 14, 2013 at 9:16 am #152947HI All,
I am preparing for F4 and F5 for June 2014,
My study plan for F5

Step 4 As book is divided into 5 different sections, at the end of each section solve all relevant question from revision kit and past papers.Till end of April i will repeat this process twice and in May i will fully concentrate on past papers practice practice practice.
I have assigned 4 days in a week to F5
December 14, 2013 at 10:26 am #152952Hi Zeshan

ishuDecember 14, 2013 at 12:09 pm #152958Hi Ishu,
You are most well come i am going to start today, i have done my schedule and i hope i will be able to stick to that.
Regarding F4, i have already attempted exam in this Dec 13 but i hope that i will be not be able to succeed due to lack of revision, as found it too much to revision in limited time secondly my poor time allocation during exam.
So i have already prepared my notes on F4 mix of BPP and Kaplan, in excel sheet which is shared on here already.
So my plan on this, i will keep on revising, all those notes and i will do self assessment on weekly basis.
I have assigned two days for myself.I am not sure about you whether you are just a starter with F4?
December 14, 2013 at 12:11 pm #152959You are most well come with F5, and yes we can go along with our weekly progress.
We can share about different chapters and ideas.Basically i am from pak but living and working in Bahrain.
How about you|?/

ishuDecember 15, 2013 at 1:08 am #152987Dear Ishu,
Well i have started with chapter 1 reading them detail and as i said the important thing about this paper to grasp concept, because scenario based question are always unseen and we can use only our concept to solve those questions.
So read them over and over again to fully understand the concept.
This week i will try to work on first 4 chapters.
On friday we might discuss about them.
December 15, 2013 at 5:46 am #152991Hi Ishu and zeshan7808,
Good to hear that you have already start studying for next exam.
Can you please also include me in… As I am also preparing for f5 this June 14 exam.
Can you please advice me which study material you both are using for f5 and do you have soft copy and want to share?
My email I’d rdesh2@gmail.com. Let me know when we can meet.I am from India but currently living in Netherlands.
Thanks.
December 15, 2013 at 7:18 am #152995Dear Rdesh most well come, to join us i m using BPP text book and revision kit. That is the best and comprehensive book but i am not sure about Ishu, what book he is using.
December 15, 2013 at 8:17 pm #153021Hi zeshan7808,
loved ur study plan, would love to join. but don’t have BPP textbook and revision kit, would u like to share, I would appreciate it greatly. my email – andersonwoko@yahoo.com. Am 4rm Nigeria.
Regards.
Thanks in advance.December 15, 2013 at 8:38 pm #153022Can I just point out that to do these papers means sitting exams 3 consecutive days. Personally I couldn’t do it. I need a full day before an exam to revise and get my head in it. If you can do it great, but have you considered a different set of exams like F4 F6, F9? Just a thought.
December 15, 2013 at 11:19 pm #153031Hi Anderson,
Well come to our group, but unfortunately i dont hve any soft copy which you can find online free download.
You will find one but mighty be a year old edition.
December 17, 2013 at 11:33 am #153075According to the ACCA timetable F4 and F5 are a week apart, not consecutive days as mentioned above. https://www.accaglobal.co.uk/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/exams/June_2014_ACCA.pdf
Can someone please confirm that is correct as I plan to take F4 & F5 based on them being a week apart?
December 17, 2013 at 3:26 pm #153102Yes acca website is most reliable source and you may follow the link which you have mentioned
