Which of the following would NOT terminate an offer?
A. Acceptance
B. A counter-offer
C. Death of the offeree
D. Revocation by the offeror
And what does the answer tell you?
I do not have the answer and it is from an ACCA practice test and have accordingly informed ACCA of this error. They will reply in two working days.
I can only imagine that the answer should be revocation.
This is effective after the offeree has received the offer but before the offeree has accepted it
IF the offeree has already accepted, then the offeror can no longer effect revocation
A further limitation on revocation is when the offer was stated to be “irrevocable”
But, so far as I can see, this is the only plausible answer!
OK?
Thank you very much. This is highly appreciated, I was muddled with this question but now I understand.
You’re welcome
