I so agree with farinaa
October 10, 2011 at 7:01 pm #87676Definitely agree with the two previous posts – I’d battle on with BPP…there’s got to be a reason why they’re the only platinum-awarded materials by ACCA!! I’d rather be writing complicated and long answers in the exam, than short and basic!
October 12, 2011 at 9:43 am #87677I used Kaplan for my law exam after a reccommendation from a friend. I found it very easy to follow and understand and I passed my exam first time with no other study materials. I am currently using a BPP book to study for my F6 in December as I got this cheap from a buddy who passed in June, but after that Im returning to Kaplan for my studies. I was very pleased with Kaplan.
Good luck for December.October 16, 2011 at 2:08 pm #87678Both texts cover the syllabus – and many of the words HAVE to be the same!
It comes down to personal preference – and not therefore to the preference of someone else.
Get your hands on a Kaplan text and see if it’s better for you.
If not, stick with BPP – but it’s your choice – not the choice of anyone else
