I don’t think accountant study law make any sense in real life no one ask accountant to advice on the law any way . I think paper is what i expected but I’m 100% that I will fail but just have a go and see .
i found the paper(f4-global) was relatively balanced.It is very surprising that the examiner opts to set same questions for UK and the Global variant( i only checked these two but maybe more variants are similar as well?.What is the point of having all these variants if he/she is going to set same exam??- iam not expecting an answer for this question actually!!!
The paper could’ve been a lot worse. I was dreading a question on the FSA or insider dealing! Time management was tough though and I had to be strict with myself to move on and come back to unfinished questions at the end. I didn’t leave myself enough time for the ISAC approach on the scenario questions – my answers were a bit jumbled. Hope I passed as really don’t want to study law for another sitting!
The negligence question was definitely on standard of care rather than duty of care. I remember because I misread it when I planned my answer but thankfully noticed before starting to write.
I wrote briefly about duty (Donoghue and Stevenson) and then talked about the higher standards of care expected of professionals and owed to people who are more vulnerable. Hope I was along the right lines!
Just to throw another point of view on the liquidation question, I mentioned the possibility that the land may not fetch what it was worth…- Topics: 0

Question 6 & 7 seems to be hard, but overall the question may be ok. I answered the all question, but pray to Allah for passing the exam.

I’m relieved to see that question 3 (a) relates to the standard of care (not whether duty or care exists), which is what based my answers on.

Anyone have idea for the MYS variant? What do you guys think for the paper F4 MYS variant? Can you guys shared the feeling?
The paper was not so difficult as the student said about, I have done my paper with full concentration but a bid of pressure I felt in doing scenario questions specially in last question………. overall I done the paper very nice and I have expectation of pass that…
that wax a great paper indeed.. ALHAMDULLIAH I had learnt q1 to q7 by heart, therefore i was jst saying in reading time … ‘ye b ata hai ye b ata hai,..’ THANKS A LOT ALLAH TALA…. M looking ahead for a world top this time, please dears pray for me….

This paper was fair but I studied too much than what came out,hope to pass.
overall, i can say the paper was fair…. but i felt the last question kinda difficult (question number 10)….. so hopping for good results
