@wahidshraboni:Q9 was on restraint of trade..
You must elaborate on what are the restraint of trade that is for e.g cannot solicit customers, employee must not use the employers trade secret after leaving employment,or commencing a competing business against his previous employer..thats what happen in that case..I just say it was a very easy paper overall compared to the june paper..Morever there was
December 12, 2011 at 3:03 pm #91726nt fabulous although tried to best of mine abilities based upon the learning of CBL.
December 12, 2011 at 3:25 pm #91727I thought Q9 was lifting the veil… like in the Gilford Motors case… Has anybody written about this?

Easiest F4 paper in the history!!!
December 12, 2011 at 3:27 pm #91729Hi all,
Hope it went well for you all. I stuggled with question 9 too. There was a case similar to that of 9 (b) I did mention it but can’t remember what it is right now. It was legal obligations and lifting the corporate veild. Thankfully I attempted all the questions so lets see what happens. Does anyone know the date the results come out?
December 12, 2011 at 3:28 pm #91730F4 WAS VERY DIFFICULT ESPECIALLY QUESTION 2 AND QUES 9

@riccarem :no it was on restraints on trade you have the different restraints of trade that exist like I said above the employee must not use the trade secret of the employer after leaving employment..So in that case the employer can take action against his previous employee…
December 12, 2011 at 3:30 pm #91732i thought question 9 was based on exclusion clauses?……fudge cake…..i must have messed that one up

@riccarem :Question 9a was on lifting the veil man and like you said you have to include the case gilford motor v horne..but in 9b you have to explain the different types of restriction on trade…
December 12, 2011 at 3:55 pm #91736@riccarem – I also thought 9 b was lifting the corporate veil. I mentioned the Gilford case. Was it Gilford Motors v Ford?
In 9a I mentioned the Salomon case briefly. I also included creditors compulsory liquidity – god knows why. This question was the last one I attempted so it was rushed!!
December 12, 2011 at 3:56 pm #91737What date do we get the results?
December 12, 2011 at 4:14 pm #91738Q9 a was about lifting the veil of incorporation and the case Salomon case
b was about the case Gilford motor company V HorneOverall the paper was ok
