I want to ask that i want to appear for f4 cbe after december 2014 attempt and if i study only opentuition notes and appear for F4 CBE will the study from notes and lectures be enough to pass the exam.
September 2, 2014 at 5:56 am #193256Numerous students have said that that was their route to success. But I’m afraid to say that it’s each one to their own. Some people can success following that formula whereas for others it would not be sufficient
September 5, 2014 at 10:24 am #193791Thank you Sir but i trust open tuition on full becuase i passed f5 in june14 because of open tuition and thank you for response.
September 5, 2014 at 6:55 pm #194011Well, that’s a refreshing compliment. However, opentuition will not be enough on its own! There’s a lot of hard work and commitment needed from you and there’s a revision kit full of questions to practice on too.
But, it’s doable – thousands have achieved success before you and thousands more will follow in your footsteps.

September 10, 2014 at 11:23 am #194516September 10, 2014 at 12:10 pm #194534Hi there, if I want to sit the CBE F4 exam at my local CBE centre for late December, do I have to book through ACCA by 8th October, or can I do the same as F1, F2 and F3 and just book up to a week in advance nearer the time?
Thank youSeptember 10, 2014 at 6:38 pm #194595Hi Chelsie
That really is up to you and the local centre to negotiate. They will tell you what dates are available (and what times) and you presumably will book direct through them
OK?
September 12, 2014 at 12:34 pm #194749Sir i have the f4 study text but it says its for exams upto June 2014 so is it suitable for this session also or not? And secondly F4 CBE is going to be 100% MCQs right? Thanks in advance
September 14, 2014 at 5:37 am #194909Hi
The June 2014 study text contains all the law that you will need for December 2014 examination. In fact it contains more than you need because corporate governance is falling out of the syllabus.
What you MUST DO is acquire a revision kit that contains hundreds of specimen mcqs and start practicing those as soon as you are able
In answer to your last question, no, it is not 100% mcqs. There will be 25 x 2 marks mcqs, 20 x 1 mark mcqs and 5 further exercises worth 6 marks each called mtqs (multi task questions)
Have you not looked at the speciem exam issued by the ACCA and available for you as a link from this site?
September 23, 2014 at 5:26 am #195989Hello Sir ! Mike please tell me some more about that multi task questions. we have to write them on Paper or on computer OR they also contain mcqs related to the above given Case Study ?
Thanks
