Dear Mr Moffat,
I want to seat the F2 Exam in Sept 2016. Can I still use the notes for Sept/Dec 2015 Exam or are there important changes?
Meanwhile I would like also to ask you how long does it take on average to prepare the F3 Exam, which it will be my next one (assuming I pass the F2)
Thank you in advance.
There are no important changes.
However you should not use the notes on their own – they are meant to be used with the lectures. It is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes.
Also, you must buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers because they have lots of exam standard questions to practice, and practice is vital.
As far as the time is concerned, it is different for everyone – it depends so much on how easy or difficult you find the subject (and on what, if any, previous experience you have).
If you can spend an hour a day (on average) over the next two months, then that should be enough. But again, you might find you need less time or you might find you need more time.
Thank you for your answer.
I am listening to your lectures and I find them clear and useful!
Regarding the Revision Kit I have the Kaplan’s version of Sept 2015 – August 2016.
Again, do I need to buy the last version?
There is no need to buy a new version – the one you have is fine 🙂
