Hello there.could someone help me out pliz….heard from a friend that if you sit for f2 and you fail you cant move to part 2 unless u r done with part 1,and also if you combine f2 and f5 and you fail f2 the f5 results will also be considered a fail,is this true?????????
ACCA exams are grouped to levels :
Knowledge level : F1, F2, F3
Skills Level : F4 – F9
Essentials : P1 – P3,
Optionals : P4- P7.
To be able to to sit papers of each level you need to complete papers of previous level first.
Or u can sit any paper /s of next level together with all oustanding papers of previous level.
So you can sit F1 , F2, F3 , F5 all together (as u can take only up to 4 papers per sitting).
in case if u plan to do knowledge level as CBE, then u might progress even quicker.
Or say you already passed F1 and F3.
Then of course u can sit F2 and F5 and probably two other F papers of your choice.
It can’t be true that if u fail F2 but pass F5 your results won’t be counted. They will be.
But F2 is soooooooooooooooooooo much easier comparing to F5 , and F5 is based on F2, so it will be a miracle if u really fail F2 but pass F5.
However it is,
prepare well and i wish u best of luck.
Ansi is correct – if you fail F2 and pass F5 then you have to take F2 again, but your F5 pass still stands.
However he is also correct that because F2 is easier, it is very unlikely that you will fail F2 if you pass F5 🙂
