Hi all,
I am struggling to pass F1 paper and yesterday ( Nov 21) I failed with 48%. How unlucky am I? I am so dessapointed with my self because I studied so hard, and the questions in the exam weren’t that hard but unfortunately not easy enough for me to pass. I’m a so confused as the F1paper has to much theory to learn and I went through the F3 and I found the syllabus more relevant to accountability then the F1. So, my questions are, can I do 3 exams in one ? Example ( F1, F2 &F3) ? If so, would these still be 52 questions within 2hours or would these be more questions and longer time? What would be the best approach to pass these papers in one exam? I am self student through accowtancy.com. I read the text books so many times and I used the revision book from KAPLAN. I also bought 3 practice tests from ACCA website recently which I only had time to do one with 69% but I still don’t understand how did I fail the F1 paper. Kindly please advise. I also would like to have a tutor.
I would appreciate your advice as soon as possible please. Thank youNovember 28, 2016 at 6:14 pm #352220Hey
I am sorry to hear that you didn’t pass F1. I would not worry about it if I were you. Personally I would make sure you understand the different theories in F1. There are so many theories and principles in F1. You have to try to master and memorise them. Be motivated to pass F1. Believe in yourself 🙂 You can do it! Try and do all of the practice tests that you purchased. Exam practice is important and definitely understanding the theories off by heart. I would recommend having a study buddy or someone so that you can test each other constantly and share ideas 🙂
I managed to pass F1 with 79%. I had doubts before the F1 exam but I managed to pull it off. It’s about being meticulous in one’s preparation. Leave no stone unturned and I am certain that you will do well!
