    I am done with all the notes and lectures provided by the OT and now i am doing the bpp revision kit but there are some questions that i am not able to do and understand.
    Will i pass with only doing OT and no study text ?

    You can pass using just OT notes, OT lectures and a revision kit. You should use both our notes and lectures. We recommend that all students read the ACCA technical articles and attempt their Specimen Exams and Practice Tests.

    See: https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f1.html

    Some kit questio s are difficult because they expect you to apply your kno?ledge. Practising questions helps with that. However, some are difficu.t because Kits are geared tomwhat is covered in the matching text and those topics might not be important in a different text. OT provides notes and lectures but not texts so inevitably summarises, but our material in comprehensive. If you get really intrigued by a topic, try Google, but only sparingly as it often provides far more depth than you need.

    Yes but dodnt you say that practice is the key to pass the exam and most of the questions in the bpp kit are difficult and i dont understand them. I have my exam for f1 next week and i am afraid that i might not pass and i dont want to read the study text they are too many details

    Yes, practice is vital. Questions are not just factual like “Which of the following does not appear in Maslow’s hierarchy on needs?”, but might require some application of theory, like:

    An employee has been assessed on the Blake and Mouton gris as having authoritarian style of management. To move the employee to the best style of management training should be given to:

    A Increase concern for results
    B Decrease concenr for results
    C Increase concenr for people
    D Decrease concern for people

    Answer = C

    See P82 of the notes.

    The BPP Kit usually offers explanations as to why an answer is right/wrong and you must try to understand those explanations.

    It can help when answering questions that after choosing the option you think is right, go through the others to ensure they are wrong. This gives you an extra check.

    It’s too late to read a study text if your exam is next week. Stick to question practice.

    Good luck for next week.
