Hi, I was not aware of any change to acca exam entry deadline and I logged in today to do what I have done for the past 6 times to be only confronted with small piece of information there that says the deadline was actually 8 of October, and the extreme surprising thing is the fact that the prices for the late entry are triple the standard price which I only see as away of ripping off students, I was planning to enter four papers but there is no way that I could pay 800 pounds for exam, do you guys have any advice?

    Hi:

I don’t think there is anything that can be done at this point. The exam changes were all over the ACCA website, including on the myACCA portal. Its a shame that you weren’t aware of this. If you cant pay the said amount, you should probably appear in lesser papers, or delay taking the papers to next session.

You might try contacting ACCA, but I don’t think that would be of any use, as the change has been communicated for quite some time now.

@Ali It’s 844 to be exact and Pak Rs.118,160. I wanted add P3 and called them on 9 but they did not change the entry together with another friend who paid Pak Rs.60,000 for 2 optional papers now.

I think and i wish in this attempt ACCA should have made some comfort for students who weren’t aware and the late fee should not be so burdensome, should be double at most!

ACCA has been advertising this change of date along wit change of exam dates for sometime now. As professional students we need to pay much keener attention to those matters which concern us. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse, because you should have been reading all relevant e-mails and student accounting articles and you would have seen these changes.
