Hey,
It sounds like a stupid question, but why are we assuming that the average holding units are half of the units ordered?

I have another question on example 4 (EBQ). If we calculate the average inventory using the formula given in page 26 , it is 1653 , then multiply this x3 (which is 10% of 30) = 4960, not 3675. Where does this 3675 comes from?
