Are exams timings different throughout the world?
I mean like we got polls for voting but commenting is not allowed to ensure exams have started everywhere.
so does that mean for example a exam ended at 6 PM in UK and the same exam started at 7 PM elsewhere?

It’s not fair if that’s true because how about having friends in multiple nations?

and if it’s not true then why not open polls and commenting right away after exam is over everywhere?

The last exams start at 16:00 UK time in the western US. Students are allowed to be up to one hour late.

To be fair to everyone, we have decided to agree with the ACCA and not open the commenting until 17:00 UK time.

@captmario Polls are opened early, as they do not reveal what is in the exam

Having polls opened is not my motive, my question is, if a guy from a country where exam starts at earliest has a friend in a country where exam starts last then he can ask about what was in the paper, is it fair? or possible?

It is possible, and it is unfair.. that is why ACCA does not want students to post what came in the exam on the forums..

But as you know the earth is round, and we have lots of time zones,, so there is nothing ACCA can do!
Unless you want to make Australians and other countries in the far east sit their exams at Midnight! 🙂

That is bad i guess, and unfair to distinction holders sometimes i guess as someone else may steal their well deserved position by just having a friend elsewhere 😛

Nah.. if you had 3 months to prepare and did not.. how are you going to learn something in 2 hours 😀 especially being stressed out on the exam day..

it’s not like people are posting exact questions anyway..
