    Dear Sirs ,

I have failed paper P5 for two times . I have been getting feedback from lecturers that with a marginal fail is due to your “Exam Technique” ,especially in P5.

Could i get a sharing what “Exam technique” are we referring here ? Could we get some sharing here before we going to the exam hall next wednesday ?

    Appreciate your help!

    Please share, thanks.

Have the lecturers you talk about seen any of your answers done in class. If so, try to get specific feedback from them about your answers rather than generalised feedback.

If you have had several attempts then it is assumed that you know the theories and techniques. Therefore, failure must be due to the way you answer the questions.

Are you focusing precisely on the requirements?
Do you make use of data in the question?
Are you focused on performance management?
Avoid describing any models or techniques (unless specifically asked to): apply techniques.
Are you writing enough? For a 10 mark question you need to write more than one side in the answer booklet. Perhaps aim for 1.25 sides per 10 marks.

When you try a question then compare your answer to the model answer, try to understand how yours is different. What have you left out? Did you take a completely different approach?
