I got that email as well. I am guessing since they’re rolling it out in all countries they want a question and answer session with students.

Thanks seagoat for pasting the email.I have’nt received such an email from ACCA besides it doesnt seems to be an indicator of anything. I am waiting for my final P5..4th attempt..

i wrote my last paper in december (p7) i am hoping and praying i get a pass, so i can be an affiliate. journey has been tough but its all gonna be worth it when it is over.
The last info about the results release states that the results will be spread by e-mail (for those who opted for this) on the 13-th of January by noon. But if I am not mistaken – the initial info was that the results will be spread by e-mail on the 12-th of January. Am I right?
Please provide official source (link) for this info.

What the email was basically saying is to ensure that your method of receiving results (email or text) is updated by the 13th January.

My ERS report is showing 5th January. Is it same with everybody….
Mines showing the 6th, hopefully this date isn’t too much of a indication of results

@elliejane89 , Rightly so, its just that in earlier threads certain date holders could access the links available for finalist only..
I hope to pass my finals so I’m trying not to read too much into the date, however being the only one as far with the 6th isn’t looking promising
This issue of ERS date came up last June 2015 session when I was expecting my last result. Though mine showed an earlier date and I failed. Others had that same date and passed. In conclusion this has nothing to do with pass or fail.

‘Students will need to opt in to receive results by email and text message by 12 noon (UK time) on Tuesday 12 January 2016.’As far as I understand you need to opt in by 13th of January (previously 12th of January) but results will be available next week.
I have also initially had same doubts when reading it.
The date on your ERS has nothing to do with your PASS/FAIL final result. It is just the time of your ERS update ie. most likely the date when your result was uploaded to your ERS – but not revealed yet.
please reply who from finalists received an email about March exam around January 9th and what do you think does it mean??
