Hi, I feel when I am answering the question I end up writing too much about the theory and then not have much time for the application, what would be a suitable amount of theory to write in the exam before moving to the application, e.g. Pestel, should I state the individual parts and then move to application, or should I describe each in detail and then move to application?
April 29, 2015 at 7:45 pm #243299In general, you should be very wary about writing anything describing the theory. Certainly in something like PESTEL which is just a list of headings.
P5 is about application and it will be clear from how you apply models to the question whether you know the theory.
Only describe models/thories if specifically asked to.There are no marks for this otherwise.

May 1, 2015 at 11:24 am #243497theory would only get u max of 1 or 2 marks, the new examiner doesnt tests a model for full 25 marks, before the ex examiner would ask for a particular model and it would be usually for four or five marks however that has changed now and like p3 we have to apply the models, you can check the revision lectures section where the technique is the one that should be used in p level papers and trust me when you get the result you would be very happy if you apply the same shown by the great Gromit
