Thankyou for all the free material provided, so so helpful! 🙂 I had a question regarding how the exam marks are awarded, i hope i have posted this to the correct forum.
For example in the exam if a 2 mark question asks you to choose 2 correct statements out of 4 and we choose one correct and one wrong would we still get 1 mark out of the two?
The reason i ask is because on the ACCA CBE speciman if you get only one answer right and one wrong you get 0 marks out of the 2. I thought there was no negative marking?
For these 2 marks questions you get 2 marks if everything is correct and you get 0 marks if anything is wrong. Getting part right and part wrong does not get 1 mark.
(That is not negative marking. Negative marking would be getting a minus mark for a question and that does not happen – the minimum mark is zero!!)
