Hello John,
I did a question of Current Ratio in BPP Publishers kit.
My answer was 1.176 and the kit has answer as 1.18:1.
My question is that is examination do we have to write answer as this “1.18:1” or my format is correct? Is it mandatory to write in ratio?

Your format is correct.

However in the exam the question will either make it clear how the answer is to be entered, or the marking software will be programmed to accept a range of formats.
