How would you suggest dealing with theory questions in AFM??
I have read the Kaplan text once and obviously can’t remember anything when solving past papers. I’ve noticed much of theory questions are “generic/case specific” and direct theory questions which are not generic are asked from anywhere in the text.
Should I read the whole text again before the exam or reading theory questions from the Kit would be fair enough??Secondly, I will be done with around 35-40 (Section A+B) latest questions two weeks before the paper…Are they sufficient as I think I would need to revise again the important questions which I’ve solved…

As far as the ‘theory’ questions are concerned, it is much better to learn from the examiners answers than from a text book. Just appreciate that the examiners answers are deliberately much longer than what is expected from students (because the examiner knows that students learn from his answers) and do check the marking schemes to see what the important points are (although the marking is very flexible and so isn’t always just for specific points).
Got it regarding the practical aspect…
Talking about theory questions, reading the theory questions asked in those 40 questions would be enough??
I know a lot of theory questions are repeated in paper AFM, but many are not….and obviously those 40 questions would not cover theory of whole AFM syllabus..I’m really worried about the theory aspect in AFM

Thanks a lot sir!Obviously the more reading and the more questions the better, but your 40 should be enough.
Appreciate that a great many of the ‘theory’ questions are testing that you understand what you have learned for calculations as opposed to being extra learning. The most important thing of all is to make sure you do write something for every part of a question. So many people leave out parts of questions completely (and it is mainly the written parts that they leave out) and so the marking for these parts is more generous and you will always get some marks for anything at all sensible (however little you write).
Yeah I definitely agree…So what I conclude
(1) These much questions would be sufficient for both (practical +theory) and is everything which I should focus on for the remaining 2-3 weeks
(2) Better to write something rather than leave it which would make a negative impression to the examiner
