I am not doing any exams in June 2014 because I just got married in February and taking the time to honeymoon. I will be taking exams in December 2014 and would like some advise of what combination I should choose. I still have the following exams to complete:
F9
P1
P2
P3
P4 or P5
P7Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
March 5, 2014 at 4:55 pm #161556Hello Carolg32.
Dont fall for the same trap as I did lol!
Before you can complete any of the option papers, you have to have completed P1,2 & 3.
The option papers are effectively “locked”. I am told there is a way around this, but it is
expensive. See my question a while back on this:https://opentuition.com/topic/why-cant-i-sit-p7-if-it-is-unlocked/
So really you need to concentrate on completing F9, P1, P2 & P3 first, in any order.
Hope this helps
March 11, 2014 at 10:39 pm #162095Hi, I want to sit in June 2014 attempt for P1,F7 and F4 but my F8 is still remained to pass. Is there any possibility to do this.? Because you have to click F8 paper in order to opt for P1.
Kindly guide me how is it possible?
Thanks

Hello Leo,
Yes, as I understand it you will be able to do this.
When you enter for your exams – you will have to enter (and pay for) F4, F7, F8 and P1.
Whether you choose to turn up for F8 is another matter – as long as you have paid and entered you can sit for the above four exams.
If you did not turn up for F8, as I understand it, you would be marked as “Did Not Attend” and would be automatically failed for this exam. But you can still attempt P1 and the others and be marked as normal.
This is a very costly way of doing things and it is not something I would personally consider doing.
Why not enter for F8 and have a go at it? Even if you make a complete mess – if you did’nt attend you would fail anyway so why not give yourself at least a small chance of passing or use it for a practice run??
Hope this helps.
Good luck for your studies.
