    Hello
For section a and b what is the leeway for an empty box figure.
In 1 of the question that I was doing, due to rounding off I got 8487 but the answer indicated was 8490 is it acceptable?

It depends what the question states – you have to look clearly
The real ACCA exams always show you clearly

    Round to 1 decimal
    Round to 2 decimal
    Show as a round number

for the final answer then yes
    but my doubt is on
for example: to calculate WACC I had to calculate cost of equity and cost of debt, which resulted in me rounding it off to at least to 2 decimal places if not then just as a whole number but when I put that into the WACC formula I ended up with the answer 8487 due to the rounding off but the answer was 8490. Is my answer acceptable and I won’t be penalised for it or what is the best way forward for such questions?

    I’m sorry I misunderstood
I know WACC is a % figure but with the same concept then what do I do?

You have to accept the real exam will be based on a figure within a range.
A computer marks it so with most questions it will be a range. How large a range depends on the type of question.
All in all, I wouldn’t worry about it
    That’s all I can say
