Each session the fees are increasing steadily, which make me wonder “on what basis?”…
inflation? oh, come on, are you kidding, ACCA? My salary doesn’t rise at that pace!Do you like such increase? I don’t! But what can we do to make it stop?
August 30, 2012 at 10:16 pm #104654Switch to ICAEW! It’s a more prestigious qualification but way harder.
September 2, 2012 at 11:34 pm #104655It is the motivation for you to pay once, pass the exam and get out quickly.
September 3, 2012 at 10:51 am #104656I notice also that the website (ACCA) is crashing again too – hope I can get entered before the 8th Sept so as to avoid the “price-date-bracket” !!
September 3, 2012 at 11:07 am #104657Its not like the increase in fees goes toward the IT is it!!
I am having the same problem as marky, am sure they do this on purpose so you have to pay the higher fees ,was offline for the whole day the day before the price increase for the June entry!!
September 4, 2012 at 9:28 am #104658The ACCA website is not working again this morning – but I think I may have found the solution. I logged in at around 10pm last night and was able to access straight away no porblems. So while I had the chance I enetered for my Dec exams whilst still in the cheap bracket. Obviously ACCAs servers cant cope with all the traffic during working hours!!

September 9, 2012 at 8:58 pm #104660I guess today is the day after the reduced fee deadline. I know for the past week there have been issues cause a colleague of mine had to keep pressing on the pay fees link before it would activate.
