hello
i have f6 remaining in f series and i have p2 p7 and p4 remaining in p series.
i entered myself for f6 for march session.
is it possible to enter myslef for p7 for december session since i have already entered myself for f6 session?
thankyouOctober 23, 2016 at 12:18 pm #345682You may need to enter for F6 for December as well and then not turn up to the exam
You could try to enter for P7 for December and see if the ACCA site accepts your entry
October 23, 2016 at 12:23 pm #345683i had tried this in the past and it had worked..but now i am able to select f6 in december session even though i have already entered for it in march session.
so when i select p7 they are asking to choose f6 as well..
should i wait for a confirmation mail so that it shows f6 as enetered in dec session and i can enter for p7? i have tried this twice in past and it has worked but that time the page for december and march were similar now it has changed a bit..should i send an email to accaOctober 23, 2016 at 12:32 pm #345684Why not simply enter for both (it’ll cost you 2 exam entry fees!)
If the site rejects your entry, fine, you can’t do P7 in December
I don’t think that I have any other suggestions, sorry

and finally for p7 i dont have a kit.. so i searched google and got the papers from 2007 onwards.. would that be sufficient? if i read the past papers from 2007 onwards upto 2016?October 23, 2016 at 7:40 pm #345735From December 2010 should be sufficient and you can download those from the ACCA website
October 23, 2016 at 8:03 pm #345737ok thanks mike.. so question papers from dec 2010 upto 2016? alone is enough? i dont have to buy a kit right..and i was reading posts where you adviced to write in a4 for 1.8 minutes.
is this 1.8 minutes for one mark?October 23, 2016 at 8:16 pm #345738Yes, but it’s 1 minute 18 seconds not 1.8 minutes
It’s the most you should write for any single sentence / paragraph and that sentence shall contain just ONE markable point
You will already have spent 30 seconds per “thought” within your plan (number of marks per question (or part question) divided by 2)
That should give you 12 planned points for a 12 mark part question and should take you 6 minutes
A 12 mark question is worth 21 minutes 36 seconds.
Deduct the 6 minutes that you have just spent planning 12 markable points and that leaves you with 15 minutes 36 seconds.
Divide 12 into 15 minutes 36 seconds and you arrive at 1 minute 18 seconds to write a sentence for each of those 12 points
Clear?
