    Hi All

I thought the exam was difficult, even if I practised with past exam papers ( self study big mistake!!!) i was not able to do a decent job. The pressure for this exam was too much!

Question one first part i couldn’t even answer that.
Now i know what the answer should have been.

Do we know when the answers will be published approximately on ACCA WS?

    Thanks
    B

it was easier than past papers imo first question was a mere basic, but the audit risk questions and that deficiency and its recommendation one was quite easy But yes it was way too lengthy for the 3 hours even if your 10 mark question was wrong but others were even half right you can still pass i believe

Too lengthy – did not finish the whole of it either

Yes and Q1 – it took me ages to answer that… specific audit procedures

Mcq’s were OK, dont know why people think they were easy ?? there were few tricky ones in there….

all we can do now is wait…….

and yes this has to be one of the most boring papers of ACCA iv ever attempted 🙂

    Agreed

    Paper was really lengthy!!

Im so glad I spotted Q6! Most people didn’t even notice Q6 actually existed.

I reckon if one can achieve about 15 marks from the mcqs than getting 35 from 80 shouldn’t be a big deal. However having said this, with ACCA anything is possible.

    Hi,
In F8 You have to memorize 40% theory and 60% question practice. If you can cover 40% theory part in the exam,it will be very easy to pass other wise it will be difficult.BTW most probably result will be published in Feb 09,2015.

I thought you had to know your topics in order to answer the questions. Question 1 was about audit planning. Question 2 was on risk. Question 3 was governance and ethics. Question 4 was reports, question 5 was Internal controls and question 6 was a mixture on subsequent events, using the work of an expert and opinions. What I really hated was the amount of procedures we were asked to described and do. Although I knew which procedure should be done, time consciousness wreck havoc with me. I answered all questions WRONG or right.

I have appeared in F8 Paper for 4 times as follows:

    ACCA Pass Rates Marks Obtain
    1. June 2013 40 49 Differential 1 Mark
    2. Dec 2013 37 46 Differential 4 Marks
    3. June 2014 40 48 Differential 2 Marks
    4. Dec 2014 45 35 Differential 15 Marks

This is very discouraging, demotivating and embarrassing situation for me. I am almost break in half because of this and not able to pay you such high and increasing fee again and again for 1 paper.
