AMENDING AN EXISTING EXAM ENTRY
The deadline to amend an existing exam entry is 30 April 2018EXAM WITHDRAWALS
Withdrawal requests must be received by 22 June 2018what’s the difference between these 2? can i still postpone my exam for june 2018 exam?
May 15, 2018 at 10:25 am #452051No, you can’t postpone it after 30 April 2018.
I think withdrawal after this date means it won’t count as an attempt, but you can’t change if to another date or get your money back.
EDIT:
See this section in the FAQ:
“If you are unable to attend your exam and feel that there are exceptional reasons for this then you can contact ACCA providing details of these reasons. This must be accompanied by relevant supporting documents at which point it may be considered for an exam withdrawal. Exam withdrawals will only be considered under the most extenuating circumstances, minor illnesses or normal expected workloads cannot be considered. Any supporting documents should be sent to students@accaglobal.com by 22 June for the June session.”
So it seems the 22 June date is if you have some kind of exception circumstances only.
May 15, 2018 at 11:23 am #452059This is explained in ACCA’s FAQs at https://www.accaglobal.com/lk/en/help/exam-sessions.html
I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE MY EXAM ENTRY, IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Yes. Via the exam planner you can make changes to existing exam entries up until the standard entry closing date – including withdrawing an entry, changing exam centre, variant papers or entering for more exams. The standard entry closing date for June is 30 April https://www.accaglobal.com/lk/en/student/getting-started/important-dates.html
Based on the above it is too late to postpone an exam that you have entered to sit in June.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I ENTER AN EXAM AND THEN CAN NO LONGER TAKE IT?
After the standard entry deadline, your examination entry fees are NOT refundable or transferable. If you are unable to attend your exam and feel that there are exceptional reasons for this then you can contact ACCA providing details of these reasons. This must be accompanied by relevant supporting documents at which point it may be considered for an exam withdrawal. Exam withdrawals will only be considered under the most extenuating circumstances, minor illnesses or normal expected workloads cannot be considered. Any supporting documents should be sent to students@accaglobal.com by 22 June for the June session.
