Hi My dear tutor, i wanna ask question relating to exam topics.

can accounting for inflation, specialised, not-for-profit and public sector entities be examined?

Also, is this possible to be examined ratio analysis based on consolidation?I just look through past paper questions on 6 September 2016 which there is only one question close to ratio analysis based on consolidation. The question is really very difficult. It looks like out of F7 exam content.

I analyse question but what type of ratio analysis can be tested?I am doing ratio analysis such as given average sector comparison
Also, i am doing ratio analyses based on acquistion or disposal of company, how it affects performance and profitability ratio, long term liquidity and stability and short term liquidity solvency.

What do you think about ratio analysis?

    Thanks in advance

    Regards

Nayem – what sense is there in posting a question about a totally unrelated topic on someone else’s thread?

In future, please start your own thread for each new topic

The short answer is … I can’t remember! If it exists, it’s on the site already

If it doesn’t exist, it’s not on the site

    Sorry!

    Kengara …

“Also, is this possible to be examined ratio analysis based on consolidation?” – Yes, it’s a recent (last 12 months) addition to the syllabus

It’s not difficult – it’s the usual principles but applied to a group of entities rather than a single entity

“I analyse question but what type of ratio analysis can be tested?I am doing ratio analysis such as given average sector comparison
Also, i am doing ratio analyses based on acquistion or disposal of company, how it affects performance and profitability ratio, long term liquidity and stability and short term liquidity solvency.”

These do seem to be totally appropriate areas to which you should direct your efforts

    OK?
