Hello sir, I would like to know if the chapter on time series analysis and high-low method can be examined in management accounting in section B?

If you read the syllabus on the ACCA website (or watch our free lectures), then you will see that Section B of the exam will contain 3 ten mark multi- task questions each of which will examine Budgeting, Standard costing and Performance measurement sections of the syllabus.
These areas do not include time series of high-low.

Yes I have already read the syllabus on the ACCA website but my friend had told me that he was given question on time series analysis and high method (10 points) on section B and this has surprised him and everybody else. I will take the exam of management accounting next week and I am actually bit scared because I had never worked on these types of questions before. I do not know if the ACCA examiners did not give precise information on the syllabus or they had not informed about the change

What will you advise me to do,sir?

The syllabus has not changed – most likely your friend is wrong.

However you need to study the whole syllabus anyway because all topics will be examined somewhere.
