I’m sorry but I find this question kind of funny. I mean which topic can you skip in the syllabus? it has maybe four or five main topics. the questions are very specific. first question is an NPV question. you have to do a WACC. you need to now the dividend growth model and CAPM. you need to know how to deal with working capital.

should we leave out the FX section, i mean you may not need that five to ten marks. or maybe you dont need to know how to calculate the cost of debt or cost of capital.

If you have studies acca to reach F9 you must know that you cant leave out any section and to focus on any one section based on any tips would be a grave error in the exam.

    Latoya is quite correct.
Although all of the tuition providers (including ourselves) give our guesses nearer to the time of the exam, they are only guesses and it is very much luck as to how ‘correct’ they are.

At this stage you should be studying everything. The examiner is not stupid and tries his best to make sure that only well prepared students pass the exam.

For F9 in particular it is vital to study everything. Even if we guess a particular topic (and are correct in our guess) then it is impossible to understand most topics on their own without understanding everything else!!

What exactly is that supposed to mean?
If you want to ask a question then ask it, but just typing ‘F3’ is meaningless!!!
