Ex-dividend date

Hi,

I understand the share prices fall on ex-dividend date, however, just curious to know whether they fall by the same amount of dividend ?

Yes they do fall by the same amount (although in practice they may rise or fall for other reasons in addition, just as share prices are always changing depending on changes in future expectations).
