Hi Teacher,
I have difficult in doing Capital employed adjustment in EVA, could you please advice me where I can review these topic, especially goodwill amortise and leasing finance.Thanks
LoanI don’t know of any single source. The best thing is to read notes or the text then to see how it is done in questions.
Remember the capital employed in EVA is the opening capital employed, so any amortisation during the period is irrelevant. For leasing finance you want to include the value of the lease as at the start of the year also.
