    Hello Gromit

thanks very much for answering my earlier questions

i have 2 more questions now on the topics of ethics.

i have noticed that acca suggested past paper answers and bpp kit suggested answers have given multiple safeguards after they identify threats in scenario based questions.

my question is that how many safeguards do we have to mention in exams since there can more than one safeguard on many occasions. do we lose marks if we don’t mention all safeguards relevant to a particular threat?

also the answers suggested in acca solutions on acca websites are quite lengthy. am i right that the correct approach to get full marks is just to identify a threat (multiple if exists) and then recommend relevant safeguards. will this be ok?

It all depends on the scenario and the time/marks available. If there are several safeguards that you see then it would seem wise to try to mention them all.

The ACCA answers are always far longer than you could do in the exam (they want to give definitive answers). All you need to so is identify the threat (explaining why it is a threat, because sometime it might not be obvious) and recommend safeguards.
