Hi,
what is the difference professional issues and practice management issues?
Alot of the ethics questions ask us to comment on them from a case?
I am finding it diffuclt to answer such quesions?
any guidence?
thansk
I believe we can generalise an answer here! Ethical ssues are those which we can tie in to the ACCA’s code of ethics and involve those matters termed fundamental principles – eg competence, professional behaviour, confidentiality, objectivity, independence together with all the illustrative examples of threats to independence.
Practice management issues are those which relate to the practical running / management of a firm of auditors / accountants and are not necessarily related directly to ethical concerns
Hi Mike,
thanks for this- provides more focus,
What about when a question asks to identify professional issues?
thanks
Professional issues covers both ethics and practice management
Thank you
welcome
